I have to tell you a story, trust me you want to read this.
When I started Heavyweights Supplements I lived with my parents while in school and working at the local YMCA (across the street from my parents house).
I LOVE Fitness and I started my business with a shelf in my bedroom and $200 of Supplements.
From there I vowed to always do my best to help people, to give them the best advice possible and to always help people every way I could to get them Stronger, Leaner & Healthier. I found my true passion and I never looked back.

With my store and my website I was happy helping people in Newfoundland. But I made a promise to myself.
I promised I would NEVER OPEN A GYM.
Read that again.
I said that I would NEVER open a gym. NEVER.
The main reason why was because I have seen so many local gyms fail and go under and I have had enough stress in a life time establishing Heavyweights Supplements that I didn’t want more stress (starting a business is one of the most stressful things you can ever do).
However in 201o something started to happen and it changed my mind. This something was BIG and I KNEW I had to open my own gym no matter what. I had to find a way.
I felt compelled to to do it. Something inside me said I HAD TO DO IT. Here is why.
Recently there has been a huge increase in “Big Box Gyms” invading Newfoundland. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for Fitness and the more people that can get fit, the better. But there was something very wrong with this business model. It was your typical “Walmart” approach to Fitness. It had no soul. As well the type of exercise that was going on was incorrect. Machine after machine, boring steady state cardio, and repetitive boring workouts. I hated to see this, I hated for people to be fed lies and improper training. So I decided to make the jump.

I decided to take my passion for fitness & training and learn from THE BEST IN THE WORLD. I decided to INVEST heavily in real world education. Traveling and training and LEARNING from the best of the best to bring the RIGHT information to Newfoundland and my clients.
I wanted to have the best training, the best environment, the best people, I wanted something with Purpose & Passion.
I wanted to CHANGE LIVES.

What Is Heavyweights Training Center?
It’s a cutting edge fitness & performance enhancement facility that focuses on athletic based, group training designed to build real word, functional strength and conditioning. College and professional athletes all train in groups as do the worlds top martial artists. That’s because when you train with a group of like minded individuals, all striving for a similar goal your results are enhanced dramatically. Not to mention the fact that your training becomes infinitely more exciting, motivational and, most importantly… FUN!
How is Heavyweights Training Center Different From The Local Health Club or Big Box Gym?
It couldn’t be any more different. We are not a public gym. In fact, we despise most public gyms and feel they damage the image of what real fitness truly is. After training with us for just one month all of our members feel the exact same way. We are a private, hardcore training training center serving those who take their fitness seriously. We focus on group training, so everyone has a coach and a team and you are always being supervised and motivated to succeed. Unlike going to a public gym and wasting your time you will always be accountable to someone as a member of our anti- boot camp, New Jersey based training center. That right there will enhance your results dramatically.
What if I Haven’t Worked Out in a While and am Not Very Physically Fit?
The first thing I can tell you is that what we do IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. We only accept members that have the dedication and commitment to work hard and constantly set new personal bests. We have members of all fitness levels and you are only expected to do the best job you are capable of. Beginners will start with easier workouts and progress slowly. We are not drill instructors and will not punish you or try to make you sore just for our own egos. Your results, safety and satisfaction are what is most important to us.
What Do I Need to Bring?
Just workout clothes, a bottle of water (preferably stainless steel) and the desire to work hard, set new personal bests and be part of a team of motivated, like minded individuals.
What Goes on During The Workouts?
Our workouts are based on building real world, functional strength and athleticism while minimizing body fat and building lean muscle. To achieve these goals as fast as possible we combine old school methods with the latest research to create highly effective, short, fun workouts. Unlike most public gyms we don’t use any machines because they are detrimental to building true athleticism and can never produce results as rapidly as exercises using your own bodyweight, sandbags, kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, free weights, ropes, sleds, tires and many of our other non traditional training implements can.
What Kind of Results Can I Expect to See?
Men will typically drop 1-2 waist sizes and gain 7.4 pounds of muscle in their first month. Women will drop 1-2 dress sizes and lose an average of 13.8 pounds of fat in their first 30 days. After just your first two weeks of training you will start to notice a more defined, athletic look and will feel healthier, younger and more energized.
What Types of People Attend Renegade Training Center?
People from all walks of life, just like you. We have members ranging in age from 20 all the way up to 60 years old. Former athletes especially love training at Renegade as it brings them back to their competitive days and puts the spark back in their workouts. All that we ask of anyone is that you do your best and come ready to train hard and help motivate and support each other during your workouts.
Can I Pay Per Workout or Just on the Days I Come In?
No. We understand that dramatic physical change requires a real commitment. If you can not commit to making it to your
workouts every week that shows us you’re not serious about getting results, therefore our program is not the right fit for you. We only accept members who are serious and dedicated and will not just allow anyone to be a part of our family.
