Meet Coach Rob Rob King is the founder and creator of Heavy Weights.11377279_10155663583705296_2070803482731862074_n

With over 20 years of fitness experience in competing and coaching Rob has an extensive background in fitness, body transformation and strength training.

Rob is a National PowerLifting Champion, Worlds PowerLifting Medalist, National & CommonWealth PowerLifting Record Holder & Natural BodyBuilder (At the age of 41). Along with helping thousands of people lose fat and transform their lives Rob is a coach to countless athletes in competitive Bikini, Fitness & PowerLifting. His programs have helped thousands lose fat, build muscle, feel better and live better. Rob has written for top fitness websites and magazines such as T-Nation.com, Schwarzenneger.com, MensFitness.com, Strong Fitness Magazine and many more. Danielle Rideout, is the co-owner of Heavyweights Training Center (HWTC), Atlantic Canada's Top Fitness Center. Lifting is my passion and has lead me to compete in powerlifting competitions winning gold at the provincial powerlifting competition in 2013 and silver in 2014. In the last two years, I have taken this one step further and have competed in both the provincial bikini competition, and in April I completed a weight loss of 40 lbs to step on stage with the UFE. I went on to compete with the UFE again in October. In November, I was selected to be one of Team Magnum’s sponsored athletes. I love Strength Training and empowering others to lift. Frequently Asked Questions About Our Online 42 Day Transformation Programs

 

Who Is This Challenge For? Any fitness level can participate in this challenge. Our coaches can modify each workout to fit your specific needs, including prior injuries or specific dietary needs. Challengers range from athletes looking to maintain weight to those that have 100 or more pounds to lose. All are welcome at HeavyWeights.

What Equipment Do I Need? It doesn't matter if you train at a gym, train at home, or have no equipment at all.  Our programs are designed with options to accommodate you.  We can help you with any questions to accommodate you to help you reach your fitness goals.

What Will Be Required Of Me? During the six weeks you are encouraged to workout 3 times a week, complete a challenge workout on the weekends and our body weight workouts for best results. We recommend you do weigh ins every Saturday morning. What About Injuries & Doing These Programs? Our coaches are the best and we can work around most injuries.  Do not let this stop you.  As long as you have medical clearence and a desire to give your best we can modify the workouts around injuries. I Don't Have A Lot Of Weight To Lose, Can I Still Do The Challenge? Yes, you certainly can, you don’t have to have a lot to lose to participate in this 42 day challenge programs. Some only have their last 10 or 20 pounds to lose and just want the extra accountability and family environment at HeavyWeights. Our goal is to get you lean, strong, and athletic as much as possible.  Fat loss is only part of our transformations.
