Danielle Rideout, is the co-owner of Heavyweights Training Center (HWTC), Atlantic Canada's Top Fitness Center. Lifting is my passion and has lead me to compete in powerlifting competitions winning gold at the provincial powerlifting competition in 2013 and silver in 2014. In the last two years, I have taken this one step further and have competed in both the provincial bikini competition, and in April I completed a weight loss of 40 lbs to step on stage with the UFE. I went on to compete with the UFE again in October. In November, I was selected to be one of Team Magnum’s sponsored athletes. I love Strength Training and empowering others to lift. Hey, my name is Tyler and I am co-coach of Ripped in 42. I first joined the team as part of the 21 Day Rapid Fat Loss program and then on to ripped in 42. It was there I reached my goal of losing 100lbs. Since joining HW I have found a passion for fitness and helping people empower themselves with it. I've found what I'm meant to do and I have met some of the best minds in the business while improving my own skill set! I've reached my own goal and jumped over hurdles I once thought impossible. Coach Kayla Hi everyone, Kayla Dominix here! I just finished co-coaching my first Ripped program with my first coach Tyler and loved every minute of it. I enjoy motivating others to meet their fitness goals and pushing them above what they think they are capable of. I recently hit a weight loss of 140lbs and competed in my first bikini competition where I qualified to compete at worlds in their Transformation division. I am always making goals to push myself to not only achieve them but crush them more then anticipated. My current goal is compete in my first powerlifting meet where I plan push myself. I love to share my story and struggle with others, to give them hope that anything is possible, it's just how bad do you want it?     Built In 42 Built in 42 is our original strength and muscle building program. Through building lean muscle, you will also burn stubborn fat. Learn proper form and technique in Built in 42. With "Built" we will teach you how to use a barbell, kettlebell, dumbell, TRX, body weight and much more.   Welcome to Built In 42, where our primary focus is strength training, improving athletic performance. Hi – I’m Danielle Rideout, and I am part-owner of Heavyweights Training Center (HWTC). I’ve always been interested in fitness, but nothing seemed to hold my attention for long. Machines bore me…I need a challenge!

I actually stopped training for a while because I just wasn’t enjoying the training that was available to me. This is where HWTC comes in.

I started lifting weights and couldn’t believe the changes, not only in my physique but also in my confidence level.

As I was getting stronger, I was also looking better and feeling amazing. The workouts are always changing and the family environment kept me motivated.

It’s what comes from lifting heavy weights! I developed a love of lifting all things heavy. The key to the success of these programs for me was goal-setting and being held accountable to it. HWTC is not your typical gym, nor do we want to be.

Lifting weights and pushing sleds is fun. I wanted to put my passion, knowledge and genuine love of helping people to work. What better way to do this then by helping people reclaim their health and bodies. Nothing feels better then helping someone reach and exceed what they thought was possible of themselves.

I decided to share my love of fitness with other women and helped develop the Strong Her In 42 program.

I love seeing the confidence and sense of empowerment that women get when they get stronger.

The positive environment and sheer joy I get from training clients and seeing their lives get better makes this more than just a job – this is my life. There is no better feeling then knowing you are helping people transform their bodies and reclaim their lives in the process.

Lifting still remains my passion and has lead me to compete in powerlifting competition winning gold at the provincial powerlifting competition in 2013 and silver in 2014.

Hi friends, Jill Nash here to tell you that I love coaching...in particular, I love empowering women by teaching them how to lift. This translates into more confidence in all areas of life.

I've been coached by and learning from the best for a few years now which has helped me become an Elite level Bikini and Fitness Model with UFE as well as always medalling at provincial and eastern competitions in powerlifting. My greatest achievement has been coaching Team Canada in Finland, June 2015....an incredible honour and privilege.

I am constantly learning and expanding my knowledge having received my Precision Nutrition Certification and most recently attended Iron Sisters Strength Camp 2.0 in July learning from Kim Walford, Rhaea Stinn and Jennifer Weed Thompson....the best of the best!

I always aim to bring out the best in people, to teach them all the knowledge I have acquired, and to have some fun along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our 42 Day Transformation Programs

 

Who Is This Challenge For? Any fitness level can participate in this challenge. Our coaches can modify each workout to fit your specific needs, including prior injuries or specific dietary needs. Challengers range from athletes looking to maintain weight to those that have 100 or more pounds to lose. All are welcome at HeavyWeights.

Where is HeavyWeights Training Center Located? We are located at 94 Clyde Avenue in Donavans Industrial Park in Mt. Pearl. 1 Min from Donavans Irving.

What Will Be Required Of Me? During the six weeks you are encouraged to workout 3 times a week at our gym, complete a challenge workout on the weekends and our body weight workouts for best results. We generally do weigh ins about once a week What About Injuries & Doing These Programs? Our coaches are the best and we can work around most injuries.  Do not let this stop you.  As long as you have medical clearence and a desire to give your best we can modify the workouts around injuries. I Don't Have A Lot Of Weight To Lose, Can I Still Do The Challenge? Yes, you certainly can, you don’t have to have a lot to lose to participate in this 42 day challenge programs. Some only have their last 10 or 20 pounds to lose and just want the extra accountability and family environment at HeavyWeights. Our goal is to get you lean, strong, and athletic as much as possible.  Fat loss is only part of our transformations.
