HWTC Strongman Program happens every Sunday, and is designed to increase strength & muscle using "Strongman" type exercises coupled with some Power Lifting exercises. The base of the training will formed around the following exercises:

Our Strongman Program is designed to increase size & strength and to teach you the Strongman lifts, and to have a FUN Time doing it. I take everything I have learned from traveling all over the world, meeting the best trainers, training in the best gyms, going to the top seminars, and I put it all into this program designed at Heavyweights Training Center.     Rob King A bit about me...I am the creator of“Built In 42,” and a Certified Personal Trainer under Martin Rooney & his “Training For Warriors” System. Ever since I was a teenager, I have been obsessed with everything to do with building muscle, losing fat and being athletic. I read everything I could and got my first job as a personal trainer at the local YMCA (across the street from my house). For the next 10 years, I ran Heavyweights Sports Supplements, serving thousands of customers at my store. The whole time learning and educating myself on everything to do with my passion for fitness. I have owned Heavyweights Sports Supplements for 10 years. Once my Heavyweights Supplements was established my next goal was to open my own gym and train and educate people on the benefits of fitness, strength & fat loss. Since opening Heavyweights Training Center I have created "Rippedin42," "Rippedin21," "Women's Only Cardio Strength Training" & have also written five books on fitness.

  Josh Sullivan Over the years I had trained with lots of friends/partners, learning things from them and vice-versa.  I love sharing my knowledge and helping people where I can. As my journey started years ago at about 155lbs, I bulked up to my heaviest of 240lbs and knew bodybuilding was what I wanted to do.  (I especially wanted to compete after seeing my first provincial show, and then watching the Arnold classic pro show.)  This was in my future as a goal. It eventually became the ultimate goal of that year as I worked 30 hours a week, went to school full time with 6 courses, and dieted for the 2011 NLABBA Provincial Show.  I competed as a light heavy weight at 188lbs.  I was 21 years old, with a physique I still can’t believe I developed from what felt like skin and bone. It was such a physically and mentally demanding 12 weeks but I loved it and I’m so proud of myself for doing it. If you ever have any questions guys/girls young/old whether you see me in the gym or at work I will always try my best to help out anyway I can!

  What Kind Of Training Is Strongman Training?

Our Strongman workouts will be focused on power & strength.  We will be using mostly Strongman lifts and much of the workouts will be done outdoors.

They will be challenging workouts and we recommend 6 months of prior strength training before doing this program.

The workouts are for MEN & WOMEN.

We will accommodate ALL strength levels.  All you need is a willingness to work hard, have fun, and be part of your TEAM.  We train and help each other with ALL programs at Heavyweights Training Center.     Where Does Our Training Take Place For HWTC Strongman Workouts? HWTC Strongman training will take place at Heavyweights Training Center, 94 Clyde Ave. You will have FULL ACCESS To Heavyweights Training Center for the whole month to do your Strength Training Workouts. Heavyweights Training Center has THE BEST equipment for Strength Training & Strongman Training. We Offer:

Once registered for the program an automatic monthly renewal will continue until otherwise stated. If you no longer wish to continue, you must give at least one weeks notice before cancellation on membership for the following month.
